High Desert Rv Pk was new and clean! Just off highway and close to town!!Not bad for $25 per nite! 3 dog runs, nice gathering room, BUT NO POOL! :/
Another closr drive to town! 5 minutes and you were there! Bigger and more going on than Las Cruces, with restaurants, stores, shoppes,etc. There is also a square with history bhind it that to can go to and find little shops, ice cream or just hang out in. And for the life of me, Ive forgotten the name of it!!
We ate at a great little restaurant and walked the "square". topped in a little adobe house where it was turned into a pottery. Great people! Funny how different life seems out there to us easterners?! Adobe houses do not need a/c. They are designed to stay cool. The doorways and window frames are typically painted fun bright colors to give these clay homes some personality. Loved riding around and taking in the sights! Downtown has its museums and parks. And the parks are utilized by all! Sports,walkers, picnic'rs and more. Very lively and probably the only green areas in town!
Enjoyed another city.....now time to move on to Sante Fe!
