And March 8th we get to Naples Fl. The Signature RV Resort is an "owners resort". People have bought the rv pads/sites and can opt to rent them out. Beautiful place. Great location. Close to Marco Island. But a distance to a public bch.

The amenities at the resort include a few pools, a nice club house and a boat slip into a canal. Pads are concrete and manacured lawns with asphalt streets. Most people are friendly. However, prices are steep at $75 per nite.

A couple nights there and off to a great little island west of N. Ft Meyers and east of Pine Island. Matlacha was once a fishing Island but when net fishing was outlawed the little town became a ghost town. Until! Local artists decided to take over, paint the bldgs fun colors and sell their goods. Restaurants opened and one thing lead to the next thing and a mini key west was born!! We just love it!!

a 12 site campground called Sugar Sands RV resort was born! It's a corky lil place....dogs are free to roam and swim, Rv's are packed in tight, the club house is an old existing house and the sandy beach is hauled in by truck load! Its a family atmosphere and you have no choice but to make friends there! Walk or bike to everywhere! 12 nights was all we could book!
