And so here we are! We've decided we'd spend a few days in Sarasota at Sun N Fun Rv Resort and then start heading west on a cross country adventure! Last time was 1994 in a van....this time in a motorhome!!
So we check in on March 22nd and as soon as plugging into the sites elec outlet, there went our surge protecter! No "juice" to the rv! Ugh! A repair man to do a temp fix and a repair shop in our future! BUT we were in Sarasota, land of gorgeous beaches! And a resort that offered just about everything!
By the 25th of March we find out that Tim will be having open heart surgery....on none other than April 1st! Yes! April Fools!! A suprise?! More like a shock! Our daughters decided they'd pack up their 6 kids and leave Md for a ride to sarasota with a son in law to follows days later pulling a travel trailer! 9 people/ 2 large dogs in a 40' motorhome for a few days seemed to work just fine. And we were quite happy they were all there!
So happy to have our close friends camping just across from us! The Espinola's were a great amt of help!
April 1 came and went. The kids left, Tim came home and recoop period began! April 28th and finally ready to roll! But first a stop at Lazy Days RV service in Seffner Florda.
