March 1st became a month of campground hopping!

Leaving the Florida Keys is always a sad day for us so we decided to stop at a couple different places onour way out! Jolly Rogers Campground on a waterfront site! Just for 2 nights....and for 2 nights it poured cats and dogs! So much for the splurge at $84 per night to be on the water!
A nice little place with some new sites and a redone pool area. Friendly but not enough time out of the rv to explore due to weather! Marathon was the closest town for goods, etc.

Then onto Fiesta Key RV resort. At $69 per night it seemed to be well out of being a "reasonable" price due to the condition of the place. It, once again, was in the process of being sold as was in the past when we've stopped there. The sites are oddly set up and in major need of work, the store was basically empty with no suppplies, all along the north side of the park and waterfront is now all park models for rent and the distance to Islamerada to shop was quite a long ride. However, the sunsets on the point are to die for! And I just loved the marina area and the frequent manatee visitors!
Too bad! A big park and it could be beautiful!
