May 24th thru the 27th (2013)
Navarre Rv PK/campground in Navarre Florida. Pull thru , rustic camping on the intercoastal close to Pennsicola. Rental cabins,pool and friendly park. Lots of young families that love to party! Water not so clear due to river run off and although on the water with a bch the park is very narrow with small wtrfrnt footage.
It was nice to see some friends we have'nt seen since 1998! The O'Brien's. We enjoyed a visit catching up on life and remenising on the past.

Then onto Biloxi, Mississippi! My expectations were very different than reality! The water was brown, the foundations along the coastal drive were ruins of big beautiful stately mansions never to be rebuilt. They were destroyed from hurricanes over the years. The main attraction was the casinos and since I'm not a gambler, this was not my "cup a tea". We did make it to a little downtown area for lunch but though my main appeal to traveling is visiting the small towns accross the country, this was not what I had hoped for.
We stayed at a great little rv resort in a not so great part of town called Majestic Oaks. However , the security was great. A super clean little place at $38 per night! Grass,Landscape,Asphalt Rd, Concrete pads, Laundry Facility and very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and left on May 29th for New Orleans!
